Sales seem to be pretty decent from the website.

Most of the gold and Silver areas are sold out.

Some sales left in the corners and who knows about the east and west stand.

But hey it looks like a decent turn out already

I just hope Souths take the game seriously and we get to see two full strength teams.

I have no doubt they will. Russel Crowe was a big driving force behind expanding it.

Gutted Sam has left league but probably a blessing for this game. I think if he was still in the team would have been slightly too steep a hill to climb.
Hopefully all the games will be great games. I love the idea of seeing more of the top teams go head to head.

I'd imagine one Michael Maguire to take it seriously with relation to a previous employers distaste for Saints.

Well it's looking more and more like a full house. Even the bronze edges are down to single seats.

So should be a packed night at LP. Will probably be something of a bizzare atmosphere with no away fans and all 4 sides packed with Saints speccies.

But I imagine it will be a noisy start to the night.

Anybody got an idea of how the East stand is selling?

I think there will be away fans - namely Wigan fans supporting their former head coach!

Can't see the pies coming to watch saints maybe become the best club in the world.

There will be a few. Some Saints supporters were at Wigan for the WCC game v St. George in 2011, and as Saints Fan says they will probably cheering on the team trained their ex coach.

Well should add to the atmosphere if that is the case.

All very good. Apart from Wigan on good Friday could be our first sell out.

Mike Rush was on Try Time on Thursday night. He didn't know the exact number of tickets sold, but said that there are "not that many left" and "we are down to the last couple of thousand now".

He said that with another payday due at the end of January, he is pretty confident of a full house. There will be a real marketing push in February leading upto the game.

"South stand pretty much sold out". "Not many left in the North stand". "In the West stand there are about 1000 tickets left" (this will probably have changed since the date of the interview). "There is a bit of room left in the east stand".

That's about 12K - 13K sold then?
I'm hoping all 3 games get over the 15K attendance (not sure of Wires limit is at present)

If we are down to the last couple of thousand then we have sold more than 13k.

Im coming over from Huddersfield we a mini bus where good to go before game to savour atmosphere other than ground ie whats near? ??

Me dad not great on llegs so we trying to pre plan, rabbitohs running a tour party as well , think there, ll be red n green in big numbers

how are ticket sales going at Wigan?

Tickets are quite expensive for a friendly. They'll do well to get a big crowd on.

If there are only around 1,000 left in the home (West Stand) are you saying there are only about the same amount available in the East Stand and have sold around 16,000 tickets?

If so that's very good news.

Still about 1700 for sale in the East stand. It has bigger capacity than the west stand for some reason.
