Bridge
Wardle
Difficult choice between Wardle and Shenton, but I think the toughness of the former just makes him better suited to test rugby.

| Not a great choice really after Watkins. Maybe Hardaker could play there in reeds absence?
I went for
Watkins
Shenton
Cudjoe
Cudjoe not been great this year but I think he's better than the others named

| I've been really impressed with Joe Wardle over past 2 seasons, think he looks good in both attack and defence and would love to see him get a shot. I think if Percival can develop over the next couple of years like he has done this year he will be in there but dont think he is ready just yet. My 3 would be:
Wardle
Shenton
Watkins

That was my choice. Sarginson has had a very good second half of the season and got the better of both Watkins and Cudjoe in their recent meetings. His other advantage is that he can can provide cover from the #1 to #6 positions.

| Where does Stefan Ratchford fit in? Will he come under the halves section? He's a certainty for me just because of his cover in the backs positions and halves.
As for the options above Shenton & Watkins are 1st choice, I'd have Bridge as back up.

Yep will be listed in the halves as that's where he's played the most rugby.

| I've always really like Bridge as a centre, but has he payed a lot recently? I don't feel like I've seen much.
Whenever I've seen Wardle, he's looked excellent (much better than Cudjoe) and seems a tough lad to boot.
I'd probably go for Wardle and Watkins. Watkins seems to have the odd blip, but when he fires he's great.

| Watkins and bridge to start, Atkins in reserve. I would also take ratchford as cover for multiple positions.
I wouldn't have cudjoe anywhere near an international team.

Sargison can't tackle and would get crucified at international level

I would have agreed early on in the season but the second half he has been good. Don't forget that he had to get used to a completely different defensive system than what he had been used to, and he's still only 21.

I don't think Inglis and co. would even need to run. maybe a fast walk would be enough

| I don't think I've ever seen this country with such poor centres and lack of depth. Obviously Reed would be in if fit alongside Watkins which is very good but after them it's a massive drop in quality

We're not in a great state, but I think we've been worse off fairly recently. I still have nightmares about Richard Horne playing at centre for England over in Aus. I also think it's fairly balanced out by the much better standard of winger that we have now compared to a few years ago.

| Really our centres are better than in recent years. Still nowhere near as good as you'd hope but at least we're not having to pick Lee Smith and Kirk Yeaman anymore... Or Paul Sykes *shudder*

Same selection as me, I was torn between Cudjoe and Bridge but thought Cudjoe played well in the WC so opted for him as backup to Watkins & Shen.
