They made far more metres than us. Let's wait for the stats but the Leeds forwards metres made will be a lot more than ours. Like I said, it was a slightly improved performance IMO but I expected more with our "star" players back.

I don't buy that. When Amor was on we were hanging in there, but were clearly clinging on rather than being physically competitive.

Remember , any negative comment is clearly premature and 'knee jerk'. We will at some point this year through some minor miracle discover some aggression , the ability to defend , a proper stand off and develop some mental toughness.

I'll agree to disagree, but I thought our fringes let us down defensively today, not down the middle.

A few dodgy 50/50's aside, I thought leeds deserved to win. There were some uneasy sequences of play for leeds but saints never really had any control of the game, apart from that 5 minutes in the second half where they showed defensive line speed and were penning leeds in.

I've played plenty rugby thankyou. There is nothing I say on here I wouldnt say to someones face.

Saints showed good defence on the fringes, for example in the first half leeds would have been out of sight had it not been for that. The problem is leeds 3/4's are relentless so 2 lapses in concentration = 2 tries and suddenly it looks like the defence is poor.

They 100% deserved the win.

We've had a hard run in in the few weeks. I feel we looked tired all over the park in the last 3-4 games. Anyhow, we looked a little dis organised in attack and defence looked tired. We didn't really meet Leeds in the middle much. Also has anyone notice that Lomax PTB is extremely slow which I find frustrating. Alot of slipping over from the Saints players too so I think however looks into our pre match prep needs a good talking too. We just looked flat with no one pressuring the kicker.

I thought the final score flattered Leeds a bit..if turner didn't pass to makinson on the touchline I thought you had Leeds rattled them few sets around that, unlucky that amor had to limp off he was your best forward today..I thought last year you was just a HB away from been the top team, the play off game there last season was wilkin in the halfs was your downfall, the same today, Walsh had to much to do alone this afternoon,& why didn't he have the right boots on? So in other words we were crap. Half the team didnt play against Widnes and eveyone else has played the same games we have so tiredness is not an excuse.
