Yeah 2006, was still quite young then, was ok for us, had couple of really good games and looked very promising.

I do seriously doubt he would come to blighty yet. He has shown he can play well in the redvee so i'd love for us to sign him but i just dont see it happening

Hes definitely had his problems but no more than Carvell and we went for him.

He'd be on a lower salary than Cayless I'd guess and he'd free up a spot. I would definitely have a go at signing him.

Thing is, as we know, over the coming years we'll be having to rely more and more on less foreigners which will probably mean we'll have to take more risks on them making it or not. That or try to splash the cash on other Superleague players.

Danny Orr is a fine player. The JJB was a graveyard for more than the odd talented player. Denis Moran was another fantastic player who's career was destroyed by rotting at Goonhaven.

He's not on his own here, but Gidley made him look like an absolute mug when we played Hull KR just after he'd signed for them last season.
