Fair do's. We need a monster really. Maurie isn't getting younger, and the rest of the pack are not huge. We've occasionally looked like it's hard work getting away from our lines when faced with an enthusiastic defence in big games.
The only English one I'd really want though is Carvell or Burgess, and they're not up for sale. Do we have no big lumps coming up through the youth ranks ?

| We defo could do with a injection of pace in the backs but also need a big hard prop what makes good yards.
If poss I'd like to see a 2 forwards and a halfback.
I know we got eastmond and wheeler but I'm not so sure they would pair well with pryce.

Between 19 and 22 kids tend to put on enormous amounts of bulk during their final growth spurt, so it's entirely possible that one of the academy lads could explode onto the scene next season. I mean, the club seem pretty keen on Frodsham, Emmitt & Yates. Certainly I would not rule them out until 21 at the earliest. A lot depends on the shape of the player. Barring freaks of nature most 18/19 y/o front rowers are tall and kind of lanky. Usually they get bounced around during their first games (think of Frodsham). Then that final growth phase arrives and suddenly they look like Barry Bonds (Scully only hit his aged 23!).

| In the Mirror today small piece about Scott Moore and that he's returning to Saints next season. It says he's sad to leave Hudds, has he's made some great friends, but he always new he'd be going back to Saints.
It's on page 64 in the Mirror down here in South Wales.

| He was outstanding tonight. And that try he scored! So like a typical Cunningham try! But he seemed to be everywhere and instrumental in two more tries as well as some excellent accurate passes and worked incredibly hard in defence. He fully deserved his MOM.

| He was the best young English talent from the age of 12 to 16. He was better than anyone knocking about but unfortunately Millward chucked him too early and in the deep end vs Wigan (Play offs).
He is an outstanding player.

Awesome potential but still definitely a work in progress. Looked less good last week in hte cup against Cas. His poor distribution close to the line cost Hudds numerous chances.
A long way to go yet for the lad but very encouraging signs.

| He's playing really well, but Eddies excitement is simply embarrassing.
Lets not put too much pressure on his shoulders, calling him the next King is a massive statement.

Well, a player doesn't need to be young to suffer a bad match. Every player does that, even the mighty Cunningham.
Was the quater final match the first Challenge Cup match he has played in? I'm thinking that maybe he is not used to that kind of pressure. Knock out matches can get to the nerves in a way league matches don't.

Yes, he played well. It was interesting that one of their tries came about through Moore passing to Mossop who scored. The two loanees scored one for them!
