The whole team defensive structure was poor.

Soliola was merely the shining star of defensive ineptitude.

Probably because he's been one of our better players this season. Yes, he is prone to defensive slips. But you can't even begin to compare him with someone like Shenton who has consistently been poor in just about every department.

Soliola had an off day, but the fact that he has been one of our most consistent performers this season is probably clouding the 'bagging' of him.

He needs to to stop playing to the crowd trying to put big hits in and concentrate on not missing tackles.

Soliola looks like a player who needs a strong coach. It's not that he's lacking ability, determination etc. But sometimes he gets just a little overexcited and his concentration slips.

I'm sure Brown will quickly get to grips with him and any issues will be ironed out. After all, the raw ability is there. What's missing is wisdom and direction.

Nothing wrong with burger and chips. How else do you expect them to pack in 5 thousand+ calories? That's a lot of chicken salads.

One of our best players this season. Had a poor game yesterday but hardly worth a thread. Line speed, desire & attitude of whole side was a far bigger issue. Those sort of hits are remiss of Cunningham when he came back on and lifted the side. Yesterday just didnt go his way & he mis-timed a few.

I would never slate a player in as good a physical condition as Sia. We don't know what his dietary needs are and if he needed an intake of calories, who are we to argue? If it were Josh Perry having seconds at the all you can eat it's a different matter.

Seriously one of the only saints players that wins us collisions. Yes he made some errors yesterday but when the 3 people outside of him have shipped so many tries its easy to understand why he is hesitant to move the sliding defence over to the centre too quickly.

Seriously where is the agression from Josh Perry apart from once or twice he has less impact than Ade Gardner...

We had a little game going on Sunday, it's like the game wheres wally but renamed it where's perry.

We spent the last 20 mins of the first half and the first 25 mins of the second half playing where's Perry.

That looks like a pretty standard prop rotation to me.

Finch stepped Soliola for the break when Tomkins scored Wigan's first try. Then when Hock went past Soliola for Wigan's second try I thought he'd been targeted by the coaching staff (Harris) as a player to aim for.
A very big man but can be slow to cover a gap and turn.
Talented no question but Wigan soon found his weakness yesterday.
Saints players body language after that 2nd try told us all it was game over for them.
