You got to wonder why, given the amount of key positions he can cover. If Roby/ Walsh/ wheeler/ lomax were to pull up in the last training session, you'd assume it would be lance to step in - but he's not even in the squad so can't?

problem is, he can cover those positions, but badly. Lance it seems is well out of favour

It has more to do with his hand being forced, frozen out of the squad.

But is it any worse than having to move around 3/4 players to cover?

Given how brown talks about him in the press he's always very complimentary, almost smitten about him, it's almost like he wants to play him but just can't bring himself to justify it!

I'm sure he will get his chance as the season goes on with injuries. It's down to him to take that chance.

With his lack of effort I don't want to see him in a red vee again.

If Lance went and Roby got injured, what would we do?

Who would play hooker? There's only really Lomax and Wilkin out of the first team squad that I'd do with, and we'd obviously be reluctant to move JLo.
