To be honest I didn't phrase it very well. I should have said the quality in the Saints squad is shrinking by the day.




Well we've played all be it one game without Fielden this year, so a fully fit Fielden will be Andy's replacement.

Hoffman will be a loss as he's been nothing short of superb. However Hock's now back and showing real improvement week after week. So hopefully he can regain his title as the best backrower in SL once again.

Granted we haven't announced the signing of anyone as of yet, though it does appear that Lenegan doesn't like to announce anything until the season is done and dusted. But we are rumored to be signing Gil Dudson from the Crusaders and activly lucking for centre to allow Joel to return the pack. But to be honest we've got a big squad as it is, so one or two signings are all us Wigan fans expect. It'll be the introduction of some more fantastic juniors next year that I'll be looking forward to!

The tolerance of this Saints board is evident everytime Rogues posts on it. He must have some dirt on somebody surely?

Having signed McPhersen, South Sydney, and, possibly Ashurst and Moon from you guys and NZ Warriors, we don't really need moore (couldn't resist) backrow forwards. So we must be signing him as a hooker, which has been Smith's main position of late. Moore does have a much better defence Smith.

Infact, Smith is an absolute liability in defence most games.

Whilst I'm here, can we take LMS/Puletua off you? Either would be top quality signings, not that I mean to point out the obvious.

Moore hasn't really played at hooker this season. He's been much more effective in the second row. He's a bit inconsistent but he definitely puts in the hits. Aggressive and works very hard every match. Can have brainfarts but can also be superb. Rough with the smooth I guess.

I wouldn't sign Moore if it's a hooker you're after. His distribution is almost Highamesque. Cracking bit of biff from the second row, though, and I'll be sorry to see him move on.

Moore is definitely off at the end of the season, I have no idea on the terms though.

Smith returning to saints was pure speculation. As for Moore he looked pretty good at hudds, when he was playing hooker for them.

Looks like Hohaia will be playing full back, scum half, stand off and hooker next season. Jeez this guy must be good!

He can start fullback, then when he knocks the bombs on he can move to scrum half for the scrum and then defend at hooker.
