Leigh really does sound like the place to work. If I was him I'd try and get a couple of shifts a week down the pub to add another £30k to my pocket money.

probably yes but that depends on what your skills are lol . I think Saints would be able to better whats he's on at the moment without blowing the budget. IF he did move to a SL club I imagine he would be on some kind of incentive based deal that would reflect the risk of taking a lower league player on but would also benefit the player if he performed.

I thought that NL1 had a cap of 100k or 150k, they can't pay too much for players.

Think its 300k and Chris will be near top of the pile on salary. As for real work and pay I stand by my comments

Plenty, but that seems a fair enough wage for a part time RL player if he's near the top end of the scale for the club.

Well, Leigh only lost in back end of the match, 16-22. He must have been doing some good work, along with the rest of the team! Clearly Millward is getting the best out of his team. I just hope the effort, and the disappointment of just falling short, doesn't knock Leigh off their league game as they have been doing so well.

I'm sure it will inspire them that they brought, arguably the form team in Super League so close.

Yes wont say what players are on but they train 3/4 times a week but some are paid a full time wage. So they can do their own training!!

Some players are on far more than Chris, and if hes going to go full time super league then he may need take a pay cut suprising as it is!!

I'm pretty sure we wont pay for a fee for a player so the only way we will get a in contract player from another club is by swapping players.

The only British player worth looking at in the list off contract players IMO is Keith Mason at hudds. He's not the best but is rough, tough, big and can put in big mins on the pitch.

I take your point but I think alot of lower division players have 'superleague clauses' in their contracts, so he may cost very little or nothing.

I liked Mase the Ace when here was here first time, and he's much better now. I'll be surprised if Hudds let him go though!
I doubt we'd have to pay a fee for Chris Hill as his contract will almost certainly have a get out clause if a SL club comes calling

Any fee would be nominal and covered by my beer purchases in the first few games at the new ground.
