Stood very wide for long periods of the game and was pretty unaffective with the like of Lomax and Wheeler able to handle him. If he had been moved to the other side, he may have had a lot more success.

Yea probably, Id just like to see him spray It out a bit more. He was a pretty creative player In his younger days and Im hopeing he can do more with the ball.
Dont get me wrong Im not expecting him to be as involved as someone like Sinfield I just feel that he has the talent to mix It up a bit more.

Friday night at saints who we never do well away against for a start, I got home just before 1am so some parents who would normally take kids will probably give it a miss. Plus only winning 1 in the last 6 would have put a few off and some fans are very disgruntled at the moment. Would have more coming for a sunday game. On the game, your pack dominated and were very good, just like perry, mason will get better after a few more games but playing in a team low on confidence and missing key players isn't helping. I'm hopeful against leeds at home next week but we'll see.

For people who finnish work at 17:30, a two hour drive means you are pushing it with traffic to be parked up and in the ground for kick off. Also it has cost me £49 for a tank of petrol that was completely gone by the time I got back to Hull at midnight. Then the £18 I got my ticket for from HKR means £67 on one away trip.

I do not have kids, I do not pay a mortgage nor bills so I could afford this and could justify a late night.

Bradford are an hour closer to Widnes, half the fuel and so a much easier choice to go to the game.

If you honestly think you will bring anywhere near as many to Craven Park on a Sunday afternoon then you will be in dreamland. You notoriously travel in light numbers and can't even be bothered to travel 8 miles to Widnes and fill that stadium.

Our away support varies depending upon the team. We took loads to Leeds two weeks ago. We don't take big numbers to Hull because frankly, who wants to go to Hull?

You are correct in that it wasnt sinister and i dont expect (or want) the RFL to do anything about it. However, the fact remains that we lost a player due to an incident that the ref deemed necessary to penalise you for.
Briscoe staying on and us still having 17 players wouldnt have changed the result imo but it certainly wouldnt have done us any harm.

You're conflating two things. The penalty was because in the ref's judgement Saints tackled a player before he came back to ground. Such tackles happen quite a bit over the course of a season, usually due to simple mistiming. However, not all players suffer knee injuries as a result. Therefore, you cannot say that Saints tackling Briscoe in the air (assuming the ref judged accurately) resulted in Briscoe suffering a knee injury.

It looked from my position that Briscoe was tackled in the air but i will watch the DVD back before im certain.

My thoughts FWIW;
Was disappointed with the numbers HKR brought, considering the legendary size of their following.
Was very disappointed with the HKR performance. They were totally munched by the S in the first half.
Was totally underwhelmed by Willie Mason's performance. In his 60 minutes on the pitch he managed about eight tackles, fewer carries, conceded three penalties, and seemed to spend most of the time stood in the centres waving his arms about. A definite must do better.
Scott Moore the enigma. Brilliant defence but with ball in hand in the opposition 20 he either takes the wrong option or no option at all.
How did Josh Perry get man of the match? The award must have been chosen by his mother! Roby was by far the most impressive player on the park.
