Still, that game should of never gone ahead, pay £19 and can only see 25% of the pitch? One thinks that the game was only played due to Sky being there. |

very true.... in all honesty the game should have been called off... but with all that money involved.. it was never going to happen... eddie hemmings said 2 mins into the game "in warrington its crystal clear".. so i opened the curtains, looked over the road and could only just see the house opposite...  |

Once it started it was never going to get called off. The view on TV was awful. Be interesting to know how bad it was for the paying speccies.

Very bad.
I stand on the pop side. I couldn't see any speccies on the stand opposite or behind the sticks. I could see the away end and where I stand on the pop side. I didn't see any of the action at all from the 20m line to the sticks or in the far side of the pitch.
The Hull fans will have seen even less given that they were in the away end. But that won't have bothered them too much as it turned out I shouldn't have thought!
(Actually, I'm rather glad I couldn't see exactly how bad we were) |
