My real fear is we will sign a big contract with him that will financially cripple us and set a precedent for wages at the club for "big shot players".

but every RL and RU club in europe would be after him then( yes a big overexaggeration), driving up his wages, paying a relatively small (£100k) transferr fee, could save them more than that over his contract.

Parramtta (spelling?) are also looking at taking Kyle for 2012

If Kyle does decide to leave us I hope it would be to the NRL rather than the dark side.

It seems to me that Kyle is possibly being badly advised. He is a tremendous raw talent and I sincerely hope he stays in RL and at Saints for that matter. He has shown great potential but he is far from proven yet and so it could be a big mistake for him to move to RU. I think his natural style of play is suited to RL but would be wasted in RU. I hope he isn't dazzled by big money offers and a promise of a fast track into the England set up. We need exciting players to stay in RL and I want him to stay at Saints so that we can be entertained by some good close derbies now that Wigan are back to being capable of making a game of it.

But if he decides to go, like Chris Ashton did then we should just move on and forget him and concentrate on the other young players who will surely come through.

I agree with that we all dont know how good he will be and if he goes to RU will never know, if he stays as Saints im sure the world would see the best out of him and see what that is like.

Kyle will almost certainly move to union imo
His body looks like it couldn't handle a lengthy career in league so it may be better to play kick and clap

I read in one of the papers or one of the rugby league papers that saints will be making Kyle a good deal and hope he will stay.

It also said that saints will be offering jammer a new deal soon and are pretty confident they will get jammer to stay because of his love of saints.

I read it in asda( while mrs shopping again!) so just proof read read it, I think it said that sir mac was on holiday and will be talking to jammer when back or it might have said jammer just back off holiday so sir mac not had chance yet.
