I'm not sure that is a major problem, given that we've only got about 4 senior players.
Where do you get this rubbish? Everyone on here claims to be an insider and know the ins and outs of the goings on at the club. But then none of them ever have a clue about anything that does become reality.
So do tell me, with Warrington, Wigan, Leeds and Huddersfield all spending up to the cap, where is Ickle Kyle off to?

Not that I have to explain myself to some random, but Tomkins IS way ahead of Eastmond, only a one eyed Saints fan would think otherwise. People forget that even when Eastmond was fit, he was still anonymous for 3/4 of the game, popping up with an important try or break and then the mass ejaculation commenced. Tomkins has for more to his game and considering we only have the ginger whinger for one more season, yes, id have Fielden in a heartbeat given the comparative form of the 2.

Ludicrous statement which you'll see when Fielden gets thrown around like a rag doll again in Australia. Some of your statements recently have been fairly considered and constructive, however the one above about Graham and Fielden is hopelessly wide of the mark. You may wish to get into a discussion about that but I can tell you now there is no discussion. A few quick PTBs have made Fielden look like he has rediscovered himself when he hasn't. Whenever Wigoon haven't been able to do quick PTBs he's looked like the same player that has sucked up salary cap since he's been there. No amount of eye-catching quick runs will change that, now behave.

You mean like James Graham was in the last world cup? Was made to look as average as they come by both NZ and Aus. I lost track of the times he was put on his booty.
Fielden had a lot to contend with that resulted in a loss of form and confidence that lasted until he got a decent coach. Last season, he wasnt far off his best. Fieldens best was, a level or 3 above that of james graham.
And surely, the worlds best prop (sic) would have his choice of aussie clubs, when in fact, its just one club that has shown an interest that will sign for next year...

Give over man. Whilst metres made are just an indicator of overall performance Graham still made almost 50% more metres again. That's right, 50%. He was, once again, the oustanding prop forward of the competition. He carried the ball more often, made more yards, conceded fewer penalties, made less errors, scored more tries and even had tim to chip in with three kicks and three try assists.
Not even the biggest Wigoon fan would argue your point for you.

Looks like we're getting a mixed bag. Plenty of talent but inconsistant. Hopefully the new enviroment and the idea of bumping us from runners up to winners will bring out the right one.
The most important thing for me is that we now have 4 good, tough, solid options at prop.

Agreed plus running at NRL defences week in week out is a lot different to running at Super League defences week in week out.

| I'm just hoping we can keep the four of them fit. We've basically been running with 2 / 3 props for the last 2 season with Maurie's constant injuries and Puletua / Hargreaves having a few niggles here there.
Having Graham and Peery starting with LMS and Puletua off the bench will give us some necessary impact especially if Roby becomes a regular starter.

Indeed. And if you factor in Cayless and Fozzard's respective no-shows in the last two years we've been well under-cooked up front. It will be a marked improvement if we can keep even 3 of them fit.

It won't matter. Props don't win you trophies, that is a myth created by mugwump.
Props bring you solidity, backs win you trophies. We don't have any.
