Did you take part in the strike today?

The invitation to the new stadium on the 9th December for season ticket holders, does anybody have any inside info if we get to sit in our own seats. Managed to get my season ticket seat for the friendly Widnes game.

Less than 500 allocated tickets left. Not bad going for the sales team, especially if the prawn sandwich section sells out to.

Had I been in work though, and in a public sector job, then no, I wouldn't have taken part in the strike today. I was (and still am) totally against it.

I did tell the massive amount of picketing workers on Corporation Street - er, that would be three - that I was totally against the strike when they shoved a piece of paper in my direction. Strangely enough they didn't say much in reply!

Yes. That's pretty much all we get to do! And watch a training session. Oh, and some refreshment kiosks will be open as well. From what Jon Wilkin said on Twitter, it might be Typhoo kiosks that are open! I'm looking forward to it. I hope the weather is kind to us!

As a teacher I am not in support of the strike either. Given that all but one primary school in St Helens closed today I would have been forced not to work (although I hope I would have been paid since I would not have voted for strike action). However, I would not have been out of the classroom by choice.

To get back on topic.

I have done a block count of remaining reserved seats at the end of the early bird period

North Stand
C block = 11 remaining
D block = 2 remaining
E block = sold out
F block = 4 remaining
G block = 43 remaining

Therefore just 60 seats remaining in the North stand.

South stand

C block = 315 remaining
D block = 29 remaining
E block = sold out
F block = prawn sandwich eaters
G block = sold out
H block = 1 remaining
I block = 60 remaining

Therefore 405 remaining in the South stand

So in the last month around 300 season tickets have been sold in the reserved seat sections.
Remember this doesnt include unreserved sales, family areas, or the west terrace. So i dont think its unreasonable to speculate that we have sold around 400 season tickets in November.

The key going forward is if sales fizzle out, or if they boom in the run up to christmas and the start of the new season.

She said they had had a few back with the same problem.

I thought the early bird period would have been extended but the website is now showing full prices.

I also know exactly which lady your talking about. She was on the phone once when I was in there and she was so rude. I said as much to the person serving me. However when I went in for my Widnes tickets she was very polite, so methinks someone might have had a word. But personally I think you have to deal either with the blonde lady Christine or the younger girl with the long dark hair as knowone else seems to know what they are talking about.

Just come backv from town.When I passed the Saints shop there was a big queue coming out of the shop and along the arcade and I was told it was for season tickets?

I picked mine up around 9:15 this morning. It was all very organised and the staff, including the lady subject to the public criticism on here, were pleasant and helpful despite being extremely busy.

Well done Saints, and the shop staff.

As an aside, they've issued a swipe card AND a book full of tickets - I quite liked the idea of slipping my season pass into my wallet rather than take the whole book with me, but this mightn't be possible.

Also includes 50% of Magic tickets and 5% off training wear.

Yup. I spent over an hour in the growing queue this morning. Got my season ticket and free bag of Typhoo tea!

Everyone was very friendly and polite, including sourpuss. I was served by Christine who is always really nice.

If you have a five year ticket, btw, and plan to renew it this week, there has been a hold up of 600 five year tickets so although yours may be there, it may not be. Only way to find out is by queueing up! If it's not there today then it will be in on Monday.

Oh, and if you renewed/bought your season ticket after 10 November it won't be at the shop until Monday.

Is the shop at the ground open yet?

Nope. But it's due to be open by the time we go to the STH training event on the 9th. Apparently the sports cafe is due to be open by then as well.

Yep. 100% definite. One of the stewards went up the line while I was queueing telling people that. One guy came out of the line as a result and just went into the shop to buy some merchandise instead as he had bought one later than 10 November.

Lucky enough I didn't waste my and leave work early to pick my tickets up.

Not sure they knew themselves until they arrived. The tickets that are available only arrived on Wednesday, which is amazingly close to the 1 December pick up kick off.

My daughter as just been to the saints shop to ask were the 3 season tickets she ordered on line are has she wants to go the open evening at the new ground this coming friday night as its season tickets only .To be told she may not get them in time as they have not been mailed out yet ,SO you hand over 600 quid for 3 tickets in oct the club puts a event on and you cant go to it because the club have not got their act together . New ground but the same crap when it comes to organisation. .

Surly we should be allowed use the tickets they gave us when we bought our season tickets ?

I'll play fook if I can't govthis open training season and they can also shove the stadium tour up there bums as well.

I'll be on the phone to them first thing Monday morning to see what the score is.
