I sincerely hope not, would be a ridiculous game to throw him into.
Couple more knocks and we might see him on Monday though . . . .

It's been done before. Boxing day 1996 one Lee Briers enters stage right.
Then plays Wigan on Good Friday 1997.

| Nathan Ashe played half back for us in a victory at the JJB once. Leon Pryce was next to him though and played a blinder.

Now quite comparable, given the boxing day game was a friendly and then he had played 5 more games (4 of which were competitive) leading up to the Good Friday match he played in.
To be fair Hewitt is older than Briers, but then the game is very different to what it was even 10 years ago in terms of incessant physicality.
As for Moore - that was Millward at his player welfare best throwing a 16 year old in for a debut at the JJB. It didn't do Moore any favours in the longer term IMO.
Ashe - I don't remember him playing in the halves against Wigan? When was that?

The standout moment was Pryce kicking a 40:20, then getting the ball at 1st receiver from the resulting scrum and scoring himself from 20 yards out.

According to Saints heritage society, though, I've totally made that up.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but personally I think thats rubbish. Players are normally held back because they arnt physically ready , Moore was never frail looking. Scott Moore has plenty talent he's just lacking common sense.
