He didn't get it wrong at all. Ashe was in the air and Washbrook was nowhere near the ball in flight. He only touched it as it fell through Ashe's hands.

Even if you call it as you do the ball comes off Washbrook once Ashe drops it and goes forward to another Hull player so it's offside anyway. If you are saying he's challenging for the ball it can't be accidental offside can it.

We deserved at least one point from that game for the comeback. should have had two though. Pity about the missed conversion.
