With very bad leg breaks, the knee can move with the leg, i was playing in oldham one year when a mate broke his leg, his knee moved and we thought he'd dislocated his knee but turned out to be broken leg.

It could be both could it not? Like what Alan Smith did playing for Man U?

Yeah a broken leg should be about 12 weeks to heal. Dislocated knee depends on how bad the injury is.

To be honest i don't think you can dislocate the tibia, unless it's come away from the knee joint which i can't see if he's back in two weeks.

If i can recall my school days in P.E, i think the tibia bone don't do much, it can be removed i think.

I think the tibia is the bone at the back which muscle attaches to.

No, the tibia is the front bone in the leg on top of the fibula. I'd imagine you need it. The only way you can dislocate it is at the patella or at the ankle which would indeed be longer than two weeks out.
