Scully's and Joyntie's books were ok. Paul Newlove's was the worst I have ever read. A 3 year old could have done better.

I've read most rugby autobiographies including Barry Mc's but this easily eclipsed the lot. The p1ss up story in Blackpool was hilarious. My missus hates sport but she's on the third chapter. A must buy for the Blackpool and saints bike ride stories alone. Bit of expected controversy re betting but nothing to

Suns head line sex, booze, and biggest scandel in history of rugby league. is this the sort of publicity the game wants, I know long doesn't write the head lines. but its not what the game needs. so he's part to blame and to top it of he's snitched on his team mates.

other sports have drivers being told to crash deliberately, women runners who are really men, players having their mouths cut to fake an extra substitution

Have you ever written for hours on end in these days of computer keyboards. Stiff thumb, dropped passes etc. Sounds far-fetched but my bloody wrist is knackered after writing for more than ten minutes these days.



Anyway, most complaints are not about the signing session, it's about the timing of the book release and the adverse publicity that will undoubtedly fall out from it in the most important week of the season.
