i think the missed tackles was more due to the encounter with leeds 4 days before, just a bit of fatigue.

The statistics are very enlightening, and give an idea of each individual's performance.

I wonder whoever compiles the data could add "minutes played"which would give a more accurate way of comparing individual performances.

Sorry Mate - the stats dont come with any minutes played.

Quite possibly the official stats compiled for the Saints may have them but I have no access to them.

So for better or worse this is the best I can do.

Mikes Stats are interesting one thing that I found was good to compare was that the average for the team is

metre/carry = 6.95
No of tackles made per missed tackle = 13.8
% of missed tackle of tackles attempted = 6.75% (anyone with 93.25% tackling is above average)

- so you can see who is carrying their weight and who isnt.

Flannery 47 tackles v wigan and Graham 196 metres, the positives for me out of that match

Cut and paste from the Engage SL website into Excel and then just play with the figures to get the game totals using the last games totals and some formulas.

to the list. Basically it will give you a comparison how well (statistically) Saints have performed for each game compared to all of the others.

Interesting point to note is the perception that Catalan A was a poor defensive performance. Saints missed the least number of tackles for any game this season in that game.
Perhaps it was simply the fact that Catalan were good enough to finish off every chance that they created

i dont think the all games total includes the wire game yet. This would account for the totals being slightly off. I'm not trying to be picky, i was trying to colaberate somethin: on the super league site it says graham is on 4246 mtrs after wakey game, your stats were correct last week, so either the superleague site is made an error or graham did 610 mtrs on friday????? which is quite an effort!

The stats site had magically added 2 games to each of the Saints players individual stats - for instance Clough had played in 23 of 21 games - which is quite a feat even for a player of Cloughies stature.

I had to wait for them to solve this error before collecting the stats - hence they will not be up till later today. Graham only did 233 yards and not the 600+ reported - which I believe had he made the 600+ yards we would have won - Slacker
