I don't need to re-watch it - it was the typical Scott Moore performance. Great endeavour and aggression in defence, undermined by mind numbingly stupid actions.

One of his big shots on Shirley he followed immediately with a penalty. Totally undermines the effort he put in to wallop him by piggy packing them up field into a dangerous position in a close game. It's exactly the sort of thing that stops him being a top player.

But I know you have a thing about aggression, hence loudly singing the praises of a player like Ferriol whilst playing down a player like Clough, despite Clough being wildly more effective as a prop than his more agressive French buddy.

It's not all about aggression - Wigan's defence is so good because it is so organised and players are conditioned to make the right decisions, not because they try to fly out and muller you. There is a place for smart players - which is why I fancy MM at Wigan might struggle to pick Hock in the big games. No doubting his aggression and application, but I'm not sure MM will admire his decision making in big, close games.

Scott Moore didn't take performance enhancing and banned drugs to cheat the sport and it's competitors. Mr Hock did.

Scott just allegedly has a few demons. Demons that have existed in scores of past Saints players including recently retire legends of the team. It would wholly hypocritical for the club to release him IMO.

Anyone who thinks Scott Moore's defense is 'fantastic' clearly watches a different player to the one I do. He is capable of some decent hits but some people seem to see that and miss his inability to read attacking plays and the shooting out of the line leaving gaps everywhere.

This is the same club who continued to employ Sean Long and Leon Pryce after their indiscretions? Why should that be different for Scott Moore? Assuming he is guilty and that will only be decided in October. Just now, he is innocent.

We will be too soft in the pack with both him and Jammer leaving. He can be a total idiot at times during a match but the way he made mincemeat of 'Big Eorl' on Friday for instance is worth its weight in gold. Every player has their weakness and being a team is about pulling together to counteract that so IMO if the team are happy to step in and sort out his on field bloopers then I'm certainly happy to have him out there being feisty for us. God knows we need some feistiness.

Who knows whether he drove with coke in his system. He was caught while not driving; that doesn't mean to say he hasn't driven with it. He was a user after all.

How long does coke stay in your system?

Roughly 2-3 days. Weed is about 30 days IIRC. But, it all depends on amount used, method of ingestion etc. Habitual cocaine use can lead to it being recognised up to 12 weeks after consumption.

So the chances are that hock at some point will have drove while coke in his system but obviously nobody but hock knows.

So Salford bound then?

Well the Moore to Salford move has reared it's head again in the Rugby papers today. It says he has held talks with Salford. It says he is keen to move as he wants more first team starts and the article also says that Saints haven't /wont be asking for a transfer fee.

Although I've never rated him my self that leaves you with only hooker at present for next season, all be it a very good one. Saints squad really is shrinking day by day.

He's hardley factored at hooker this season, though.
Next year, we'll have Flanaghan who can apparently cover that role. Lomax can also play there. Wilkin could also do a job there, I reckon.
