Well that's better, because I cant for the life of me figure why the north and south stand at Widnes were different prices for the same spec.

The North and South stand prices were different at the new stadium too, last season. They have brought the South Stand prices down to match the North Stand prices this season.

I think Saints very much wanted to sell out the North Stand first, presumably because that is the stand that will be in front of the TV cameras. But that's just a guess!

If my maths are correct the allocated ticket sales are now - 3992
2631 North
1361 South

Its all a bit random. North stand section E has been sold out then not sold out then sold out again.

I think there are a few people still trading seats. Maybe to get closer to friends and family as other people move about.

In the end the north stand is pretty solid. South stand is doing OK but the wings are a tougher sell. I'd save counting up till after chribo now. You'll get a few here and there each week but there will not be much more to see as most of the sales are unallocated.

If the story I was told is true , the club have sold almost 10,000 season tickets , which is a hell of an increase on previous years, I imagine that would also include the people on 5 year deals which is going to stay fairly static , but IF TRUE fantastic , and well done everybody

nope , but from someone who normally has good sources themselves, like I say I cant confirm it myself but I have no reason to disbelieve them

I can't believe it. It would be amazing, magnificent news. BUT, given the apathy in the town and the severity of the prices, is it really realistic?

10,000 season tickets would be a great new start for you guys.

Whilst I dont doubt that its possible to have sold nearly 10k. I'd be surprised if that was the case. If we had sold nearly 10k I would imagine that would be splashed all over the Saints web site as effectively there would only be 4k of tickets left. Meaning those planning on being walk ups would be in danger of not being able to do so. Certainly for the big derbies. It would be manna from heaven for the marketing department. People love round numbers and ten thousand would enable a big push on the remaining four. Buy or you will not be able to watch Saints at home except for games with a poor away following.

I can see the figure being closer to eight rather than ten thousand. Still a good effort though.
