Are you being serious ? The difference being that Ade had a walk in. Yet fu*ked up again. He got nearer to the car park than the line and that was before Webb put the knees in.

Eastmond's try was a clear knock-on and the most dubious decision of the game.

Credit to Saints for all their determination but they just weren't good enough when it come down to the crunch and I can only see things getting worse for them next season...

Was the penalty the right call? I couldn't see either the incident or the screen but I got a few texts saying it was 'dodgy'. Not seen the offside either, but you could see from the body language that there wasn't a person in the entire ground who thought it was a try.

I would have been unhappy if the try had been given against us. However you got the 50:50s last week and in some previous Grand Finals. Also there was more than a suspicion of a knock on in Saints try.
Leeds kicking game was far superior tonight and that's really what won them the game.

How slow was Wellens for the 40 : 20?

Only one person thought it was a try, unfortunately for you it was the Video Ref. It was definately offside, what's the point of the Video Referee when he ignores what's in front of him.

I thought it was a try, it might have been marginally offside but the rail cam was slightly ahead of the play so it was actually quite hard to judge, but I though Eastmond's first try was a clear knock on (bounced off Donald's arm) so swings & round a bouts.

Being fair to Bentham you can't see where McGuire's foot makes contact with the ball and Smith COULD have been onside. IMO it was BOD at the best, but I do think he was offside. You were however behind at that time anyway so it didn't cost you the game as such (like had you been 11-10 p for example)

As a neutral it was disappointing to see RLs showpiece event turn on an extremely dubious and in my opinion bad call.

Forget the 'They all even themselves out' statements we here. With 1 point in it and 10 mins to go, any team could have won, become Champions and gained all the financial reward that brings.

The game was taken out of the hands of the 26 on the field. You lot must be gutted and that was not a good end to the season.

I am a fan of RL and as a fan I sympathise with Saints tonight. I'm not buying into who were the best team overall and who deserved it most. The game was decided on one mans opinion tonight.

Even if it'd been disallowed, Leeds would still have won 12-10.

I think the fault lies with the helicopter pilot about the off side.If he had been flying over old trafford we may have had a picture from above but he was tossing it off elsewhere

Would they though? There were 10 minutes left and it would have been nice to have seen it. It was 11-10 at the time wasn't it? All Saints would have needed was a penalty.

Why? It's not a knock on if Eastmond is touching it. It has to leave his grasp for it to become a knock on. What happened was he made contact with it to take it and maintained that contact until it was in his grasp.

Such a shame that a good game of RL had to be decided by the VR who was clearly WRONG !!!!

TBF the Bentham VR decision is justice for Stains 2000 GF Thievery against Wigan, when dont forget Stains did exactly as leeds did on the back of a dubious decision with 1 point in the game and wigan in the ascendancy.

To be honest even taking that decision out of it I couldnt see you winning it anyway
