Does it say this on the Saints site? He did limp a bit at one point on Saturday. But then again, players were being felled left, right and centre.

A Lomax/Wheeler rotation would likely be the only course of action, with the young guy whatsisname coming on whenever he is fit (which he isn't at present).

On Kyle Eastmond's twitter he posted "Chris Ashtons Englands top man no question...gonna break records that lad!!" (which has already been mentioned, I know). The interesting thing though is Scott Moore replied saying "till next year!", presumably implying that Kyle's going to be England's new top man!

Without goin through the whole thread, Neil Fissler (RU journalist) reported on Twitter this afternoon that Kyle has agreed to join Bath.

If Kyle does go and we can't recruit from within, a player i'd like to see here is Rangi Chase. I think he is a very good player and we may be able to tempt him away from Castleford. Failing that, I don't know of anybody available that could replace Kyle. How are we on the quota situation?

We don't know that yet though. They are announcing a signing tomorrow; they don't say who.

Although it does look a bit coincidental, it has to be said.

It's a no brainer.

So if Kyle is off. When is he off? That is the main question. If he stays this season will be affected by it. It will drag everything at the club down. If he goes it leaves us again without any senior players capable of playing in arguably the most important position on the field. Strength in depth is not a Saints motto at the moment it seems.

What is our quota situation like? I remember asking this a while back but I can't remember what was said? Any chance of some disgraced NRL wonderkid ending up over here?
