I'd put money on a real coach putting some sort of structural attack and defence in place and working on the field within 3 weeks.

Exactly this,it's awful to watch and the buck stops with the coach,yet we get the same old rubbish spouted to us after each game. The only reason it didn't get more embarasing is Smith took off his playmakers as the game was won after 50 minutes. Plan A is dreadful and plan B just doesn't exist.

These were words from a desperate coach who has lost the players confidence, and he knows it. This performance earlier in the season would have resulted in stinging criticism of certain individuals. He realises that doesn't work now but the damage is done. They're not working for him.

I wish I was, tbh my original message had an air of truth, Cunningham was one dimensional as a player, granted he was the master at it and I've seen none better but he was never coaching material and never will be.

Saints like Liverpool fans love a laugh and a joke but never when they're the butt of it,(see league leaders shield episode when Sky sports received a record number of complaints) and the fickle nature of Saints fans was there to see with the vast amounts of empty space.

One thing we Wire fans have always retained through the good and bad is our humour.

Did you see KC play ? He was far from one dimensional. He could control the ruck if he had to or he could be devastating when running with the ball. He was big, fast, strong, great hands and a massive hitter in defence and worked his socks off.

He makes Daryl Clark look like a Sunday league player. Probably the best hooker in the world in his hey day and the best hooker ever to play super league by miles.

I'm on a sabbatical

Ive gone from frustrated to amused with saints now. The performances are laughable, and comments from kc adding to it.
we might as well enjoy the comedy of saints for the rest of the season.
