Not heard anything yet. I expect Saints to release a statement sometime this afternoon.

He posted on twitter last night that he's okay - heavy concussion and some muscle damage, so we might not see him for a couple of weeks.

Dirty Leeds.

Had a mixed game last night. Was swatted off far too easily by the blonde bombshell Ryan Hall, but dealt with their high balls well and finished his try superbly.

Good news its looking like he's ok.

He's a good young player but.

He missed a tackle on Ryan Hall with a poor effort which resulted in a try.

He also was guilty of lying on badly in the Leeds half from which they got a penalty and scored on the first tackle! I don't think he needed to do this I think the cover had got back.

I thought so to,he was safe under the highball,made some goods yardage in kick returns and scored a cracking try.Yes he got fended off by Hall but lets rememeber Hall is a proven international winger who is far bigger than Tommy,yet even after being fended he was still trying to get to him and that kind of effort and comitment is something i like to see.Yes he gave a pentalty away and they scored from it,but you can just as easily blame the muck up in defence for that.

Overall a good game from him,the positives far outweight the negatives,hope he is feeling ok and will be back in a couple of weeks after his head is ok.

Looks like a good prospect and hope he's ok.

Is he a former high jumper or basketball player? The height on the jumps he was making was ridiculous

Nothing in Sinfields attempted tackle on him at all.
It was a good win by your lot we had no answer to your forwards once again.
Makinson took his try well.
We looked jaded from the minute we took the field.
But you deserved the win 100% and played us off the park in the second half.

didn't think the tackle was too bad but Sinfield didn't have one of his better nights fortunately for us - he made some shocking decisions which seemed to set the trend for the whole team !
Burrow and Hardaker were anonymous thanks to the quick closing down but I thought JJB & Watkins looked good

thought Puletua & Soliola were immense and Hohaia came into the game a bit more though I would like to see Gaskell back at SO

the only negative for me was Flannery who can't justify his place IMO

Nothing wrong with his effort. Hall is a big bloke and Makinson simply made a naive error of going high instead of low. Had he gone low, Hall was his. Makinson is yet to play a full season in the first team. He will make these naive errors. One error in a whole match is nothing.


Did you see his arm? It was trapped under Hardaker. Leeds were trying to get penalties all night. It was the only way they could make yards. And he wasn't the only Saints player to give away a penalty (whether deserved or not) so that has absolutely no bearing on whether he had a good game in my view. Giving away a single penalty is hardly having a bad game or even a mixed game.

As was posted elsewhere, he scored a cracker of a try, took some amazing catches, looked for work, defended well (other than the Hall error) and made some good kick returns. He is a very promising player, period.

I think JJB,JP and Kylie ran well.
Not sure what went wrong apart from some silly offloads mainly by Ablett and pish poor defence by many of our forwards.

Nothing naive about it really. It was simply a poor tackle and he should have done better. Mistakes happen.

It was a poor technique by Sinfield and was malicious but he should still get a ban as his mistake injured another teams player. He's up before committe and thin he will get a match ban. He looked bemused last night but I am sure when he see's the replay it wasnt just nothing.

It wasn`t poor technique at all.
Ablett tackles Makinson and as he goes down Sinfield comes in and clocks him one. Unintentional and no malice.
Sinfield is not a dirty player end of.
By the way the panel reckon Sinfield has no case to answer.

What about the miss by Lomax just prior?
