Having seen it on Sky Sports News it turns out Graham won't be being cited for it, nor will he have to keep his behaviour in check, because it was Lee Gilmour involved in the collision. There was nothing in it either despite the suggestion that he may have been taken out late. It was innocuous and it was the impact/jarring effect with the floor that caused the problem it seems.
Good to hear Joe is okay and hopefully he'll be back in action soon.
Loose ball, gilly rushed out and him and joe just went into each other the fall was what set Joe off, horrendous to see any player have a fit, it was a real jaw dropper of a moment for me and every single fan and player of both clubs was concerned, you could hear a pin drop as people realised the severity of the issue. The cass fans then did theri bit by getting the joe westerman chants going to make sure the kid knew his folk cared for him.
No malice or intent in the incident, just a freak RL accident and one I hope I dont see again.
Get well Joe.
P.S Great day out up there in Cass, it maybe a ramshackle club but the free stuff for the kiddies was a hoot and a tip top pitch that resulted in some top notch tries, for both clubs. Even the training pitch out front was better than some rugby pitches I have seen
