Quote ="Roy Haggerty"One fix which would be handy is re: the editor.
I used the editor to create my local amateur side, which I planned to take from the NCL 3 all the way to the top. I basically changed the name of Heworth and quite a few of the player names, and then played a happy two seasons of getting promoted. After exiting the game for a while, I went back to it, loaded up my last save, and found the club was renamed Heworth again. All the player names remained as I'd left them, as did the manager, financial situation and everything else. The only thing which seemed to have changed back, was the club name.
I can't find a way to edit existing games - the editor only seems to be able to edit clubs/players before you start a game. If I'm wrong about that, let me know how to edit a saved game to change the name every time I log in, and I'll happily do that until a fix is forthcoming !'"
Thanks Roy,
We have fixed this issue
Although you may have to start again if you want your edited name, as the old name will now be locked in the save game.
But please try this :
- Open the game.
- Load the Editor Save that changes the club name.
- Now load your normal saved game.
- This should retain the edited club name.
This evening (UK Time) we will be putting up the update on Steam that fixes this.
I hope you continue enjoying the game.
Kind Regards
Dave
