York City Knights, Boss Gary Thornton wants the teenager to be eligible for the play-offs, so he will need to play in five of the last six regular season matches, but fellow back-rower Ed Smith will be back for Sunday's trip to Oxford and James Morland is eyeing a return in Minikin's stead. Thornton said: "We'll take it week by week but we now know if he has to come in he can do a good job. It keeps everyone on their toes."

Meanwhile, Brennan will be banned for the matches against Oxford and Oldham after submitting an early guilty plea to a dangerous throw charge against Hemel.

Intend coming down to Henley to have a look round Sunday morning, anyone know what the situation is for getting a beer in the ground itself??

Not been to Henley Hawks before but RU grounds of that stature down here tend to be big on entertainment facilities so suspect you'll be fine.

A Henley resident tells me it is an easy walk into town if you want to. If you are a real ale fan The Henley Brew House has an in house microbrewery. If you fancy avoiding southern beer prices there's a Wetherspoons between the brew pub and the ground.

Enjoy your trip down. I had a good weekend on York earlier this season. Hopefully you don't get as enjoyable result as I did.......

Oxford coach Tony Benson should have JJ Baird available again after he missed last week’s win over South Wales Scorpions. Full-back Sean Morris (knee) and prop Karl Temata (back) will be assessed before Benson finalises his line-up to face a York City Knights.

Knights coach Gary Thornton said: “We’ve had three of these long trips one after the other, and this is the last one is this little group. “We’ve just got to bash them off one by one. We targeted four wins out of four, and we’ve got to try to make sure we complete the job on Sunday.” On Oxford, Thornton added: “We owe them a bit of revenge after they did us at our place. Sean Morris ripped us apart that day, so we certainly know what he can do. We know it’s not going to be easy task on Sunday. They’ve halted a run of defeats and that might give them a big boost in confidence.

Brad Brennan (suspended) and Greg Minikin (shoulder) are ruled out, but Nathan Freer is available and Iain Morrison is rated 50/50.

Yep - seen the info thanks - we are coming down tomorrow afternoon for 3 nights at Oxford Pear Tree Travelodge - looked at trains for Sunday, but looks time comsuming & hard work - so we will drive down to Henley earlyish Sunday and have a good wander round

York City Knights new boy Jay Leary from Batley Bulldogs we go straight to team for sunday match with ORL, he on a mouth loan, let hope hes first match is not a good one.
