Not half. The whole Seeds of Love album had everything including the kitchen sink thrown into the production.

I'd agree on that, very Sgt Pepper but better. Not my fave band but they do bring back memories of being young.

Can you like the Stone Roses without liking the Rolling Stones.
Of all the bands given the tile of the new Stones through the years they came the closest for a while IMHO. They reminded me very much of the Brain Jones version of the Stones when they experimented with the likes of Paint it black culminating with Sympathy for the Devil. Before Keith locked them into a straight R&B/R&R - thus making them more or less a performance band only - that's not to say what followed was bad it wasn't but it was never ever groundbreaking again.
Shame the Roses didn't move on as it would have been nice to see what came next.

| Check out Canadian psychobilly band "The Creepshow." Catchy and bizarre in equal measures. A mix between The Meteors (but with more talent) and Rancid but with a far better looking lead singer.
Try starting with "Zombies ate her brain."

| Has anyone hear heard anything of the band Propagandhi. Obviously haven't heard every band out there by any stretch of the imagination but, in my opinion, they are one of the most important and best bands around today.
Other bands I like are;
A Wilhelm Scream
The Dead Kennedys
Pre Warning era Green Day
Bad Religion
Rentokill [austrian punk band
Milloy [from Wakefield
Streetlight Manifesto
Apologies I Have None
Rise Against
Polar Bear Club
Mallory Knox
The Story So Far
Finch
The Lawrence Arms
Billy Talent
Strike Anywhere
Smoke Or Fire
The Swellers
The Bronx

Indeed, one of the best Doom bands in the UK. Also from Yorkshire (Bradford) are My Dying Bride - worth checking out but the best (IMO) british doom band has to be Electric Wizard.

Totally with you on that - they're an absolute joy; I don't think they've ever done anything that I haven't instantly loved.
In more modern terms - The Fleet Foxes are a band I fell in love with when I first heard them; the sound, the vocals, the lyrics - totally does it for me. I saw them live twice and can happily say that they are one of the best live bands I've ever seen - much better live than recorded in fact. Much joy to hear today therefore, that they're back from self-imposed exile, sans Father John Misty, with a new album and British tour dates upcoming for the end of 2017.
