Season long loan for TNW will work wonders

Think it was always the plan for him yo go on loan better experience than the reserves . Not sure it means someone is coming in to replace him

Could also be the case that we're still paying most or all of his salary.

Probably right move to give him game time but interesting that we happy to let Olpherts leave despite Fusitua injury to create space for youngsters development however TNW out on loan but Donaldson stays. Seems like a contradiction. I suppose everybodys allowed a teachers pet!

For me TNW looks a good footballer and he has a decent chance of making first grade at Leeds. More of a question for me is Hudson - wonder if he’ll also end up at York or Halifax, or stay in the reserves.

Will he even end up on a field anywhere? Seems like he will never be fit.

We all agree that we have come into this season short in the front row.
We're already suffering from injuries and suspensions and we're only 4 games in.
We haven't yet gone into a game with the first choice 4 props available. Nothing to suggest that will change.
And we let one of our back up options leave for the season.
Very strange if we don't have an incoming.

Same with Olpherts.
We have an injury prone winger who will barely feature.
And we let one of our only specialist (said in the loosest possible sense) wingers leave.

Surely this is all to create cap space.

Thought he played last week in the reserves against Leigh?

I`m 50/50 about this with TNW.
He has in my opinion done enough to get in or around the match day squad along with Ruan and probably more so than Donaldson.
On the other hand if he is not going to get picked to play he needs the playing experience.
As a compromise maybe a 2 month loan initially would suit.
Can we recall him if injuries bite?

Agreed, Looks to me like it's creating space with some very sensible decisions. If there's a chance to boost that front row this season then surely we must take it. it will have to be a UK eligible player though, we're full aren't we with overseas spots.

No rush for him to be playing firsts at Leeds, let him go to York and experience playing against grown men every week.

Lets be honest, he's behind Oledski Holdroyd Lisone Sangare Goudemond and Donaldson at the moment, with 5 out of 6 of those available this week.

I also cant imagine us bringing any body in anytime soon, unless a decent player becomes available mid season.

Wonder if Harvard at the Pies might be a player we are keeping an eye on.

They have 8 or 9 prop options. They won't be able to keep them all happy.

We Are probably still paying part of Olpherts salary too, as Wakey won’t be able to match. Nowhere near….

Not sure they would want to strengthen a rival team and more likely to send him on loan to Wakefield.
Harvard or Hill from Wigan would be a bonus.

He's contracted until 2027 so a fee would be involved.Wigan may see that as good business get Walters for free and sell us Harvard.

Smart move, Henderson is a good coach, will look after the lad. Hopefully comes back to us a better player.
