| Some of our plays look really unfit. I can accept getting beat, but surely in professional sport we can expect players to be at their ideal weights etc. Not to mention how poor conditioning leads to more injuries.
Now who's to blame here? Yes the players are ultimately responsible for their own conditioning, diets etc. But should we be doing more on a management level, ie) simply dropping players who are not fit enough?
Can't imagine Wane, or Brian Mac putting up with it.....

| The over reaction from Sunday is getting a bit daft now.
If the side were as unfit as you suggest would they have been able to come back last week and take the game in extra time?
With the new rules score lines like Sunday's will be common, that’s if the season actually carries on with what’s happening at hull

| I'm not sure what the OP means by "management" but the implication that Hetherington or Sinfield are soft or easy touches will make a lot of people in the game splutter.

| The weakness appears more mental than physical to me.Maybe subconsciously we didn't appreciate how hard it would be immediately after lockdown. All that said, we're only two games in.

| I'm pretty sure the team has only been allowed to train as a group for a few weeks as they were furloughed.
It's not a surprise some are not in top shape, but that's down to the player

| Thought Agar in his post match presser came over too flat. I’d have liked to see him a bit more angry/tough on his view of the performance.

Come on mate its not just the new rules we were looked way off & were blowing big time after 15 minutes.
The Giants comeback as good as it was we still looked off the pace for over an hour.
Our basic skills are poor & imo we look like we're in week 1 of pre season.
Id also say despite Furlough nothing stopped the Squad from doing their own individual fitness.

Yes we were off the pace for the last two games bar 20minutes, that can happen to a team at any point in the season never mind after a 5 month layoff, look at the score lines at the weekend, teams getting big scores put on them will be the norm for a while, lets see where we are at after a few more games rather than writing the whole team and management off after a couple of bad games in weird circumstances.

| Have to wonder how other fanbases react after losses. Was there chinwags of 'Woolf isnt the right man' at Saints after a couple of losses pre-Covid?
Were not anywhere near where we need to be, we all know it, but the meltdown on here is little bit OTT after Sunday. Saints are by far the best team in SL in
Y opinion.

Actually to be fair did read a few saints fans saying Woolf had taken the team backwards, it’s not solely Rhinos thing although Rhinos fans do excell at it, weve earned our nickname well

| We all have differing opinions on performances selections Coaches & Players it makes the debates interesting imo.
However posts calling out what we've all seen since the SL return been described as OTT or a meltdown is odd imo.
I say that purely because other than 15 minutes & a very few individual efforts we have been nothing above poor , both in execution effort & fitness.

| i know it has been said already but looking at the size of Hurrell and Lui after lockdown suggests poor conditioning. Both look like amateur players with big beer guts, they are not even forwards!

Think people are just more accepting than me I guess. I figured this out when I went to watch a game with two mates and lifelong fans. They were more interested in getting a second pint than watching the second half start. I think If being a fan relates to your sobriquet life, I can see why people are less critical I guess.
I'm just bit fed up with the entertainment factor we've had to endure for few years, and some of the signings we've made. Seems another big Clearout might be needed which is sad.......

| It's nothing to do with being more or less accepting. It's to do with a correct and a fundamentally incorrect understanding of what is happening. Soft management is least of our worries.

I don’t think its about being more accepting.
Im just curious on what you are basing your ‘another big clearout‘ assertion on, the last game? Last 2 games, why are you discounting the games before lockdown where we seemed to be making progress?
There was slways going to be poor results whilst we are going through this rebuild, and Covid has thrown a massive spanner in the works ontop of it.
As the poster above points out we do seem to put loyalty high in our list snd tgst was one of rhe attributes that made us so succesful in the recent past.
We had a rubbish result last week and since weve had people questioning the fitness of the ppayers, the quality of the players, the attitude of the players and now the management of the club, it all seems like a massive knee jerk to me. Lets see how we go in the next month or so.

Assessing this Squad as is its clear there are at least 7/8 players either not good enough , past it or just passengers id say thats a decent sized clear out needed.
Even allowing for SC & C19 impact mate the likes of both Briscoes Rhys Evans Cuthbertson Lui Crosby Ward who should be moved on , throw L.Sutcliffe who wants out plus Mylers unresolved situation thats a fair size number of departures that need to/will happen soon.
Thats nothing to do with ST's tubbing us the above are surplus if we aee to make the next step in this transition. Thats before the Coaching set up gets reviewed.

Apart from wondering as to how you think you know how certain back room staff perform (apart from your famed gut instinct, which would have seen us break the golden generation up in around 2010), neither of these do any actual coaching so the point is somewhat moot.
