Ward not part of it, surprising, so assume he is out for longer than club intimated and it is known to selectors.

Yep, Ward has barely played for 4 years. Doesn’t deserve to be selected. Should only be considered when he plays more than 15 consecutive matches.

Doubt he will be close to making an international squad again, including Ireland and Scotland. He was very lucky so many injuries last year. Far too many wingers way above him.

I would have thought he would at least meet a Knights spot. He's come a long way since 2014 when he first arrived on the scene, I understand he does have Hurrell on his right which supports him a lot. But after last season and so far this season he's been superb.

Anyone who thinks Hastings has been anything close to Gale in first few weeks must be incredibly insular themselves. You only pick few halfs in a squad. No room for hanger ons.
