| Well we are back at hradingley this Friday. That's a quick turnaround. Are we up for this or will it be the same old same old?

| Like I've stated before whilst we are nowhere near a good side we are better than we look.I think the side is due a performance when they play up to their potential . I think we'll get one of those leeds games when they pull a surpringly good show out of the bag . yes I think they'll play a lot better and win

I think you may be right, I also don't think Salford are as good as people think, Hastings injected some life into them but without him they may revert to type?
But we'll probably just serve up another turd and put the pressure back on

| I hear what you are all saying and I want to agree, but we are shambolic at the moment and Salford are carrying momentum that we haven't had for months. I was glad of the win yesterday, but it was way too tight to take any comfort from. In terms of avoiding the million pound game, i think we'll scrape through but by the skin of our teeth. But I have to say no one will be happier than me if the Rhinos prove me wrong.

| It would be great if they came up with a good performance to lift some of the gloom, going into next season with a bit of optimism would be a big bonus for most of us I think

| Really would like us to win. But we have only won 3 games against Super league teams out of 14 and all three of those games were against Widnes.

But (and I'm trying to be positive here!) we drew against Wakefield and pushed Saints close in the not too distant past, the payers do have it in them, unfortunately are often than not they also have it in them to dish up a load of old tripe.

| This weekend's predictions
Leeds lose to Salford
Widnes beat Halifax
Toronto beat Toulouse
HKR beat London.
I would really like to turn over Salford but I don't think we have it in us 5 days after the Widnes game. We look lost at times with no creative play

I'm going to go into this week with positive thoughts so these are all heart versus head.
Leeds to beat Salford
Halifax to beat Widnes
Toulouse to beat Toronto
London to beat HKR
That would pretty much guarantee us staying up.

| When is Ward's contract up? I wouldn't for a minute think of getting rid of him, but it might be more appropriate to renegotiate his contract so it's more loaded around when he's actually fit to play.
The kid is in a horrible run of luck for the last year or two. JJB had similar early in his career and came through OK, so let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

| Oldezki will miss out probably due to the fact he played for under 19's last night in their rescheduled game against wigan and it should defiantly be Walters dropping out as well.

Think with this team we should have enough to beat salford especially at home and with the personnel their missing and hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel for us.

| I’d get rid of Ward on medical grounds, absolute waste of a wage. Let’s be honest here, he’s a crash, bang, wallop type of back rower, that’s been criminally used by McDemott, but Christ it’s beyond ridiculous now. No room for sentiment at the club at the minute.

| Ward's had terrible luck. The injuries that are worrying are the recurring ones, like his shoulder (David Creasser anyone?) and potentially the concussions. The bigger problem with the niggling ones is that they stop him getting proper runs of games. When he does (like 2015 and 2017) he goes very well. I'd rather get rid of all our over 30s before him.
I'd hope that as a club we're professional enough to review what injuries he's had and look for common causes and whether he needs to change some things to minimise risk. Sam Burgess knackered his shoulder when young due to shoulder charges (as did SBW) - once they stopped doing them he hasn't had a problem since.
