Darryl Powell to take up the reigns again?

he already manages an international team and the Rhinos at the same time, so could stay papering over the cracks with those grand final wins for me

He would have both at once so no he wouldn’t.

He’d need a strong second in charge though.

He`s already said he would combine the two and would not apply if it became available .

I'd try get Hasler first (maybe even Toovey), Powell teams play a great style but there is a developing pattern of them bottling/blowing big games (including in his first stint with us)

powell found his level at Cas being the plucky small town underdogs and bein g the big fish small tank, not sure he would want a job at a big club never mind the Leeds job. i don't think people realise what pressure a coach of say Leeds Wigan Saints Hull have to put up with, you simply don't get that at some other clubs. Brian Mcdermott has put up with some major s##t but has come through the other side, not many could.

There is a chance Bennett could stay on till the next WC, i don't believe he has made a decision yet but it is likely the RFL will offer him a good deal. I would like to see us move on mind.

I think either Mac, Wane or Powell would be very good choices but Betts is likely to get next shot at it after doing his time as assistant.

i would love to see brian mac and daryll powell take on the england/great britain coaching duties as that would be a great mix of skills needed to take us closer to beating the ausssies
