My views are clear he has to go along with Eaton Plume and the Conditioning dept then we need to plan for Delaney Mcguire Jjb and possibly Burrow going at the end of this Year and recruit accordingly.
Also im not interested in a p!$$ing comp nor do i need an History lesson it's just that History ,we've got this last 14mths or so wrong imo wrt Squad and Coaching forward planning.
Tonight is just another woeful reminder of that ,not a blip ,not a freak result just one of many in the last 14mths that are becoming the norm maybe not always score wise but certainly clueless abject performance wise.

Enough is now, just got back in from that humiliation, I can only describe that "performance" as shameful. A clueless group of individuals who seemed like strangers. I never once last season felt as disheartened as I do right now. I don't know how to express my disappointment adequately. I'll be voting with my feet and staying away until something's done to change the present set up.

Watching you over the last season and a bit it is obviously time for a change. But only four games into the season with a 50/50 win/loss ratio and a glut of injuries means Hetherington won't get shut yet so i reckon BM will be safe until at least the end of the month, if not til easter. Problem is by then the top 8 might be a long way off for you.

It should make the decision to start afresh easier under this 23rd format imo like you say wait too long and the season is done.
Also sorting now would give the New Regime time to assess who should be shown the door and who they want in as replacements/youth to step up!

We are clearly not a top 8 team. We will be gearing up to finish top of the middle 8s. Wow how the mighty have fallen, last year I believed the hype around training facilities but what's the excuse this year. Ship out the dead wood now. Handshakes for McGuire, Delaney and JJB along with the coaching department. But who will come in to try and build a new team? There's no one around.

It would probably be a dereliction of duty by Hetherington if he doesn't act now. Although as a wakey fan if he would like to wait until after we play you in a couple of weeks that would be great!

To me it seemed like the same dross as last season. The middle men would get three or four in the tackle, with no one on the legs, so the Cas man would trundle another 5m then get a held call and a quick play the ball with 4 men or of the game.

The middle unit looked weak and only baldwinson looked like he could tackle legs.

I've watched Leeds from afar for far too many years, & although you lot have probably seen worse, that was the most pathetic display I've seen.

The general consensus appears to be that Cas are unstoppable, but that cannot mask such an abject display.

I've seen dross served up on a regular basis, but not from Leeds.

That's the thing. RL isn't like football where you have a load of free available candidates, and they won't be able to force GH to spend more. I doubt McDermott is turning down big money players. People can say he inherited a squad but he hasn't been recruited the same level of guys of his predecessors.

Assuming he doesn't resign the only response that makes sense from BM right now is to drop half the team and replace them with anyone who is fit. Otherwise, like last year he is signalling that in some way its OK to play like that.

What we'll actually get is the usual garbage - working hard in training, just a confidence thing etc etc until we're back in the Middle 8s with no Segeyaro to spark us up again.

As an aside, hopefully one other excuse used last year - lack of a proper hooker causing our defence to be terrible - can be written off as the nonsense it always was.

Point I made remains, if McDermott goes does the squad get overhauled? McDermott will have a say on signings but I doubt he's turning down the next Peacock, Ellis, Webb or Ali.

Er, yes he can. We have players on loan/dual reg who can be brought back. We could also - shock, horror - pick some kids. Expect to lose but be making the point that they literally couldn't do any worse.

I have said elsewhere that recruitment ultimately rests with GH, and I think he's dropped McDermott in it a bit. But regardless. Look at the team we did put out. Then watch the highlights and see the pathetic attempts at defence throughout. That isn't down to individuals not being good enough - they are not playing as a team, and barely anyone is playing at levels they should be capable of. If that is genuinely their best then they should never play first team for any SL team, let alone Leeds.

What player on loan/DR didn't play tonight? I doubt Josh Jordan Roberts would've changed things.

I'm not talking ability. I'm talking attitude and desire - something shown by virtually none of the 17 picked against Cas. I'd rather watch a bunch of kids get tonked but at least have a bash than watch players who on paper are supposedly far superior players get tonked because they can't be d. We saw last year how much of a difference playing the same team week in week out did. Apparently a large number of our squad think its OK to play like that regularly.

FFS. That's the same garbage spouted all last year. So there are NO U19 players fit or recallable loanees/dual reg players? If that's the case then BM and co need shooting anyway.
