To be fair to Scotland, whilst obviously they were always going to be 0 from 3, they've given a decent account of themselves so far and not rolled over in either game, hopefully they don't tonight either.

Super Scotland Shock the KiwisNew Zealand were playing for a place in the Four Nations Final as they took on a Scotland side playing for pride and a chance to leave the competition on a high.
The venue was a cold and damp Derwent Park in Workington where Scotland made just two bench changes to the side who fought so bravely against England last week, before succumbing in the second half. The Kiwis made rather more changes from the side who lost against Australia last Saturday.
According to the bookies it was all about the New Zealand winning margin, but Scotland hadn't read the script.

They certainly didn't. Unfortunately we still need a result of some sort tomorrow to go through. If we'd taken the chance of a drop against them we'd be in the final now |

Fantastic performance by Scotland. Yes NZ were not at their best but Scotland played their hearts out. Some massive hits and Hood put in his fair share. Once again Walker was impressive and will go well for Saints next year. Lets hope Australia take it easy on Sunday.

A point means we have equal points to NZ but better points difference. A point means everything in terms of reaching the final.
On Liam hood. I was very disappointed when he left Leeds, I thought he had real potential. Seemed strong and quick and a good distributor. Didn't he score 4 from 5 or something. Anyway he's gone now but glad to see him making a career for himself.

Bulked up and really hits. When I've seen him play recently he is also smart around the PTB. Organises well.
