London look very refreshed and playing good rugby after their massive win this weekend vs Batley. We didn't look too good so we need to get a grip of ourselves as Hull KR was a lucky win in the end. Might be a good game for Ward to return to from the bench, but another two week off wouldn't hurt him either. Burrow took a knock on Friday and may miss the game, reckon we will line up:

i'd be surprised if stevie ward made his come back on london's artificial pitch tbh

imo he will probably make his come back in the home game v salford and will hopefully back up again v batley the week after if he doesn't suffer any reactions

I would probably start Garbutt over JJB, as I think we should try totally dominate the PTB in the opening 15/20 mins and hopefully get London doubting whether they can actually beat us. A couple of early tries could make the game a whole lot easier.

I would also start Keinhorst over Ablett but we all know that won't happen

Me too, cajoled into it by my son, Wembley alternative for the year, lol. Getting train from York, not a cheap day out but much easier than driving.

I used to go from York but found booking to get on the same train but at doncaster could save you up to £50 each. did it for Wembley last year

Starting 13 as the above posters. For the bench for me Mullally definitely on it because otherwise it's too backrow heavy if Ward/Keinhorst/Achurch all were selected, add in the other bench prop of Cuthbertson isn't 100% so we need another prop on the bench. If Ward is to feature is should be for Achurch.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Golding on the bench though if Lilley's shoulder is still a potential issue to last the game.

Will do! The North Star looks a decent boozer and has live music. Could be tempted to have a post-match bevvy in there and stagger back to Greenford later on.

I dont hink stevie ward is an injury risk if he is back to full contact training. However even if he is fit I don't see how he can be match fit.
London showed last week that they can score points so it may be a risk to have someone who likely won't be up with the pace of the game.

Guess the question is, would you play an undercooked Ward over Achurch?

I think with a 4 forward bench you could get two 10/15 mins spells out of him a half (we know Ablett and Ferres as starting 2nd rows won't spend much time on the bench anyway). Whilst I'd go for Keinhorst for the bench I'd imagine he'd be the one to make way (if Ward does get picked) rather than Achurch going on how much game time they're getting in recent games.

Unfortunately York seems quite expensive now compared to other places to get to London. Or it has been the last few times I've tried to book trains for the cup final or for internationals.
