This really is a must win game for Leeds with Wigan,Warrington and Catalans up next a loss on Thursday and the season really could be finished.

With Cas on the back of a good cup win and Leeds on the back of a dismal cup loss it is going to take a lot to turn things around.

Cas have more players missing than Leeds. We are at home, and other than yesterday's cup match, they are not on good form. There is no excuses for Thursday, we have to win.

Cas out enthused Salford yesterday and with that type of commitment will overrun a Leeds team who have no confidence and no organisation. We will score a couple of tries by confusing ourselves and the opposition but can't defend our own line. Another dismal defeat is on the cards, bring on Wigan and Warrington the losing run is going to lengthen.

Come on! How many more times must we read "this really is a must win game"? We are fukked already. I can't see it making much difference now... UNLESS we see a miraculous about turn in defence, game plan and confidence. I just can't see that happening, certainly not in time to salvage a scrape into the top 8. Even if the team somehow sneaks a win, the run of fixtures coming up will hardly be a walk in the park. How McDermott can talk about working for a top 4 spot proves he is in la la land (although I guess what else can he say - he must talk the talk for as long as he can get away with it. He's doing a good job of it)

If Cas beat us again, making it four times in a row, I think they'll just shut their town down and agree to all go their separate ways knowing it will never get any better for them.

Another game of being dominated at the ruck, marched down field at will, clueless on attack and giving away of silly penalties by the usual culprits ahead, can't wait.

Cas always grow a leg against us, just as Wigan do on Magic Weekend so will also be looking forward to that over the horizon

Two more losses gaurentees us a place in the middle eights so we have to win on Thursday. Castleford are playing very well with a lot of faces out, it shows what good team mentality, good coach and good ethic does for you. I think that we will have another loss coming our way and can't see a win for at least a month or so sadly.

12 of their season notified 25 man squad are out, so yes I am sure. They have no bigger squad than Leeds or anyone else, they just have had to use more players.

How good were leeds when hall, briscoe, ablett, delaney, moon et al played? They were still crap.

Obviously mcguire is a big miss BUT, one of leeds main problems is soft defence and being dominated around the ruck. Would Mcguire make a huge difference to that? We might drop less ball because we are more organised but fundementally the same problems dogging us all season will persist.

They have 31 first team players listed plus Tickle. Can you list the 12 players that you allege were out last week?

They asked Peacock on the Red Button after today's cup match why Leeds are struggling......he pretty much said it's all down to McGuire being injured. Even I can't buy that.

31 players are listed on their web site as firstvteam squad members plus new signing Tickle. Makes 32.

I was with a Cas director at yesterday's match, he said they had 12 missing. Unless you can prove me otherwise, that is fact. I don't need to name who they are.

What website are you looking at? On the Cas website they still have Clare, Tansey, Channing, Finn, and Moore listed, you do realise that?
