He was a complete liability for Wigan last night. Sin binned for holding Clarke, then the 8 point try (and only his captain standing in the face of the ref for 5 minutes saved him from another card), then he couldn't resist barging into Gidley thus ruling out Tomkins touchdown.
I would like some of what Cummins was smoking last night though. He clearly wasn't on the same planet as everyone else. Thank f*** he's not refereeing anymore.

Our refereeing is so weak these days. In days gone by the players themselves would take care of a grub like Farrell and he would eventually get what was coming to him. These days players can't do that but the refs let them get away with it. That he wasn't even penalised for his knees into McGuire at the Grand Final is still a head scratcher.

He pulls that poop house stunt out of the locker so regularly that I can only conclude that it is part of his or SW's standard play book. Nice bit of intimidatory payback to deter the try scorer from having another go. His card needs marking before he does someone a serious injury. It's a tough sport with out that kind of BS.

Glass houses and all that from my fellow Leeds fans. We have players, and especially Ablett who have continually done that trick many times previously.

I don't disagree but I'm not sure to the extent of last night has he? anyway, doesn't matter i don't condone it whoever the player plays for, grub act imo and players who do it should get a ban, might make them think twice in future.

I think its time to bring out the Garbutt thread again and remind us all of how many Leeds fans were justifying him punching a player who wasnt even looking!

I'd hazard a guess that Hardaker stepping in and grabbing a hold of McGuire and leading him away before it could descend into a big argument probably helped the situation in the GF. Had Ratchford and other Wire players not reacted the way they did (not blaming them btw they were fully justified to be pi$$ed off) then I doubt the ref does anything.
