These last couple of games he's like a lot better. He needs to try tackle a bit lower though. He's giving away a couple of pens a game from high shots and poor technique

Agreed. He looked a lot better after that with decent carries and workrate in defence. Key is still out but if he cuts out the penalties he will be useful

Not a wigan fan here.Going on the limited viewing of 1/2dozen games,he seems to be in the Brady Malham bracket(you do remember him Pacific don't you)?Would expect more from an ex state of origin player but time will tell.

He is giving away far too many silly penalties but can't fault his work rate and he seems to be making more impact taking the ball up the last couple of games. He is no world beater but if he can tidy up his discipline i will be happy enough.

Disappointed so far. A novelty Leeds Australian signing for me as he was someone I'd actually heard of albeit don't ever remember seeing.

Leeds could field an entire Australian pack at some point this season - Galloway, Falloon, Cuthbertson, Achurch, Garbutt, Delaney - and with the one exception all unknowns to me before they arrived in LS6

Before he left JP suggested that Keith(being ex SOO) should be one of the ones taking up his leadership mantle but I cannot see evidence of that apart from a slight improvement of driving the ball in, the last.couple of games.If people didn't know they would think Mullally was the ex SOO not big Keith.

I'm surprised that Falloon was unknown to you prior to his arrival in LS6 because he had once played against Leeds. Same applies to Cuthbertson.

Think him and Mulallay will be ok for yous as the season goes on. JP and Kylie are irreplaceable but certainley Galloway is as good as any could have hoped for. He is a good forward and Mullaly looks promising to me.

Cuthbertson is the only Aussie forward I would have at the club now. The rest are awful. Delaney has been a real worker but he's totally crocked. Beaten himself to a pulp. Why that total sack of s*****te Achurch is still at the club is a mystery Hercule Poirot would be baffled by. Or did "the great Sleve" right royally f*** up with his contract?

Singleton needs to make himself first choice on the team sheet. He just hasn't done enough to claim that. Frankly that's because he ain't that good. If he was he would have done it by now.

If leeds had been winning and Galloway had been putting in the same level of performance he wouldn't be getting criticized to this extent. People would be saying things such as ''solid start, should improve'' ''decent hit ups, not very mobile but neither was kylie'' etc etc.

Singleton's done more than any other 23-year-old non-Burgess prop in the league. Wouldn't be writing him off as "not that good". He's not the finished article yet though. Similarly, Garbutt was excellent last year. However Mac does have a habit of falling out with props who've looked quite decent at other teams (Griffin, Cross, Amor, LBurgess)

Not sure how Mac can be so critical of props that have or have not been that good for the club as he was a plodder of a player himself IMO

TBH Mac wasn't really that good a player really was he?
IMO he looked far better than he actually was as he was playing in a dominant Bulls side with plenty of better front rowers that made him look good when he was on
He was certainly the worst player of "The Awesome Foursome"

We have three props that can play longer spells and two that are / should be looking burst tackles and make hard yards .

I don't think we have seen the best of Galloway by any stretch but he just isn't firing ATM. Lots of effort but not enough results.
Why the coach is going without Singleton and Garbutt but then picking a biff and barge game plan is odd.

I think he needs time, sadly with us losing he won't get that.

When given the chance Singleton (and Cuthbertson) have been Leeds' best prop/loose.

No idea why he's missing out on selection at present, makes no sense to me. I didn't agree with him being held back in 2014 either.
