Falloon has to play in this even if he's in a moonboot. We can't afford to go in without a hooker defending the middle - NQ are all about their fast skilful central players (Granville, Coote, Morgan) punching and going through holes created by Thurston, Taumalolo and the pack's go-forward in the middle. Even without our current form it's exactly the type of game-style we struggle against.

Hope I'm wrong, but add in the injuries and the fact that NQ have exactly the same 17 as last season's strongest line-up and I can only see an absolute battering.

McDermott video on site says Falloon should be in a boot for another ten days and bringing him in next week will be a rush. JJB close but not close enough for next week. Ward nowhere near. McGuire out. Briscoe, Golding and Ablett all major doubts to play.

I think we will give the cowboys a good run for there money still even with all the injuries

We will give NQ a real go, i have no doubt about that. People on here never seem to learn, knee jerking everywhere.

If so...then this match is surely not worth the risk for bringing back Faloon. It is after all purely a 'friendly' albeit with some kudos to the players. IMO it really is not worth jeopardising the better longer term benefits of having our first choice hooker properly fit and able.

Having Burrow at hooker for this one will lose us the game of course, but just think what valuable experience it will give to the likes of Lilley playing against Thurston.

I hope we give it a good shot, but let's not risk longer term injury to any player crucial, or even critical, to the team's better prospects of building some league points. Leave them out of this one.

So really the only one really confirmed out is stevie ward. The 3 today could also still play at this point as well

Agree. There was some woeful stuff today. I hope and expect there should be a reaction in how we defend. However, attack is so all over the shop we would need one of the greatest turnarounds in club history to get enough points to win

I think your right we have to for size otherwise our halves and backs will have no breathing room
Also I know it wont be a popular opinion but in our own half I would keep it pretty simple, only spread the ball when its definitely on and limit offloads, we should play like Barcelona- keep in structure until the final third

Didn't have a good feeling heading into the first two league games but I actually feel quite confident heading into this. Not that we'll win because too many injuries but I do think we'll give them a game and it won't be the cricket score some are fearing after what happened yesterday.
