| The 3 man shortlist
Adam Cuthbertson (leeds)
Alex Walmsley (St Helens)
Zak Hardaker (leeds)
Thoughts?????
Cuthbo for me just for how he has both rejuvenated our pack and play in general and reinvented prop forward play in super league.

| I would go Cuthbertson.
I know plenty would be disappointed if the award missed landing at Headingley again, however I wouldn't begrudge Walmsley winning it if he does.

| I think thats a very fair short list compared to recent years. I hope Cuthbo gets it but wouldn't complain if either Walmsley or Zak got it

| A Leeds player won't win it.
I can't believe Currie is on the young player of the year list before Stevie Ward, John Bateman, Andre Savelio, or Mark Percival, you could even make a case for Sutcliffe or Jake Connor to be on the list before him.

Ward and Bateman both too old. They had to be UNDER 21 before the season kicked off and they weren't. Think Savelio should be in ahead of Currie though.

| Shortlist is fair and any of the three would be deserving.
I'm actually surprised Handley didn't get a mention for young player given how may games, tries and how well he acquitted himself for someone who wasn't expected to play.

| For me cuthbertson should win the MOS award from the shortlist. From young player of the year I personally thought Williams would be in there along with savellio. Also Handley could argue a case

| Tbh I'm not that mega impressed with any one player in the competition this year that you could say they are standout. That said cuthbo has made a big impact this year and for me edges it over walmsley who is just a straight crash and bash prop. Would be amazed if zak got the nod after all his recent naughties.
