| JP, Cutho, Delaney and Abbo all looked gassed during the Saints match. And the no-hooker gag has run its course. Would go with:
1. Hardaker
2. Briscoe
3. Watkins
4. Moon
5. Hall
13. Sinfield
6. McGuire
8. Leuluai
24. Ward R
30. Garbutt
16. Achurch
14. Ward S
19. Singleton
7. Burrow
10. Peacock
12. Ablett
17. Cuthbertson

Not with the OP as we've discovered.
Seriously though if all the back 5 are fit I'd see no reason not to pick them all.

| Sinfield can play 80 at hooker, especially spelled with Burrow. I'd go for rhinoms team. Having said that I really hope somebody else from the main squad is practicing hooker as well - one of the more mobile forwards or Keinhorst would be my shout.

| I'd rest any of those who aren't fully recovered from their injuries.
1. Golding
2. Briscoe
3. Keinhorst
4. Moon
5. Hall
6. Sinfield
7. McGuire
8. Garbutt
9. Ward, R
10. Peacock
11. Ablett
12. Delaney
13. Cuthbertson
14. Burrow (or Lilley if Burrow not fit)
15. Leuluai
16. Ward, S
17. Singleton
I think the Sinfield to hooker and going with one half back thing isn't really working so I'd rather see Ward given a shot as a "proper hooker". I think we need Sinfield in the halves and Burrow can come on if Ward is looking shakey.
Then after this game v Catalans, it's 4 games (hopefully). We go with the strongest team available then and go for 4 out of 4.

| It would be ideal if Ward (or Lilley) could be depended on, but we're probably running out of games to give them a chance. With the benefit of hindsight perhaps Ward should have been given a game or two more earlier in the season, but then hindsight's a wonderful thing.

Assuming all fit I would agree. Sinfield is our best 9 and IMO is doing ok at the moment and the drop in form against Saints was due to Wembley and not Sinny.
The problem will be if we are still missing Burrow, Watkins and Hardaker. I do think R Ward is too big a risk now and I would be including Keinhorst on the bench as cover for several positions including an emergency 9. This would mean Singleton dropping out as the least effective forward last week.
We can afford to lose one more game and still finish top but with only 2 games left after Catalans IMO we have to go for the win as the final game at Huddersfield could be quite tricky.

| If the 3 players missing from last week are fit then I'd bring them all back in. I'd keep Keinhorst in for Delaney, and I'd keep Cuthbertson on the bench as long as possible.

| Burrow's wife said last week that he had a grade 2 tear on his quad. I know he is a physio himself, but I would guess he won't be back until the Huddersfield game.

| Playing ward at loose forward might help with the lack of ball players with Sinfield playing 9?

Sadly, I think Robbie Ward has played his last game for Leeds as I'm surprised he wasn't in the squad last week.

Totally agree. We need to get back to winning ways. It will be tough over in France so we need to send the strongest team we can.

Not only that, but let's be honest, Wigan drawing level will only breed panic, it is just natural. With two further tough games to come, a win this week would remove any pressure.

Running on it was probably never a problem, more the landing on the ground with it when tackling/being tackled.

With the type of injury is was, I'd assume the main issue would be running, stretching the skin causing it to tear back open, strapping it would have protected it enough in a tackle, plus if it was still bad enough to keep him out I doubt even he'd be silly enough to run round with legs faffing at all heights.

| If Hardaker and Watkins are fit I'd go
1 - Hardaker
2 - Briscoe
3 - Watkins
4 - Keinhorst
5 - Hall
6 - Moon
7 - McGuire
8 - Garbutt
9 - Sinfield
10 - Peacock
11 - Ward
12 - Ablett
13 - Cuthbertson
14 - Leuluai
15 - Singleton
16 - Achurch
17 - Delaney (tempted to put Lilley but would he get more than 7/8 mins?, rather rotate the forwards more in that case)
Whilst not bashing Golding like Worlds Apart, I think the suggestion on the other thread that he play 6 is a big ask of him to come in and do at this point of the year. Moon has experience, maybe not loads at HB but in terms of first team games and big games.

| The simple solution is to play Sinfield at six and Robbie Ward at nine. Gets your best player back in his proper position.
Won't happen though.

| Hardakers back but still no Burrow or watkins. Could be a tough ask but much will depend if the dragons have already clocked off. Theyre never easy at home though

Might want to finish with some glory in front of their fans.
