Having watched the game back this morning, is it just me or did Jake Connors bite Hardaker right near the end when he reacted to the tackle? Sure looked like it to me. Let the witch hunt begin.....

wont be a witch hunt. only way that would happen is if you rename thread to "Hardaker bites small child" then we would all have seen it 30 times by now, in slow mo. but as hes now a victim of unfailr play (bite or headbutt) then its nothing. in fact durham giant wants hardaker penalised for being so tasty!

jools, no one is saying he was bitten. we are asking wsa he? he certainly reacts to something. i thought it was a head butt personally, but i only saw it once and quickly thought both should get over it. now theres this accusation i would like to know a bit(e) more. had it been the other way round we wouldnt be waiting til 9am the next day to find out more details....

he is alos the only player to have what he said scrutinised by lip readers. im sure if all players were subjected to this treatment then not every player would come out smelling of roses

I'm not going to speak for everyone but I have no issue with him being punished for what he said to James Child.

I do have an issue with the rfl hanging hin out to dry and going to extreme lengths to try and find a 2nd incident based solely on social media mischief making.

I read it exactly as you wrote it, you clearly "know" that Hardaker was upset at dropping a point and not upset because he was bitten.


BTW way I have not idea if he attempted to bite him and to be honest I'm not really bothered.

I feel like Hardaker was a little annoyed as he felt Connor was offside and expected a penalty, when that didn't come and Connor was sill at him Hardaker lashed out a little. That's how I saw it. Hardakers previous is colouring people's view of him these days and I don't think he can complain about that. Sent home from the England squad, 'involved' in an assault, banned for unacceptable language etc. It just makes people jump to conclusions whenever he does the slightest thing now and he'll have to deal with that.

jake shouldn't have got involved with the niggling, but as for a bite?? i have watched it back and not seen anything to suggest he has been bitten.

if... if he has then connor should face a few games sat at home, it would be interesting to see what the MRP thinks about it on monday.
if there is no bite there then maybe it's just trying to hide the fact that hardaker was lucky not to concede a penalty for striking..saying that though connor should have walked away and not let the niggle get to him.
