There's four of us coming up for the game on Friday & we will be having a drink in Headingly before hand, (I think we will need plenty of alcohol to get through the game !! )
Can you pay cash at the turnstile to get in, or do you have to buy a ticket first then proceed to the turnstile ?

All the turnstiles allow you to pay on the gate (except for all tickets games - and Friday definitely won't be one of those)

I think it's going to be a long night for us watching the match but I can't wait, really enjoy the away trip to Leeds.

Plenty of pubs in Headingley. Or if you have a nominated driver, why not park at the New Burley Club, have a couple of cheap pints in there, then a 10 minute walk to the ground.

Staying in Leeds overnight, so we can carry on celebrating there after we beat you, (Wishful thinking !!!)

For the future, if you're staying over, take a look at the hotel at Headingley, Headingley Lodge. As, if I remember correctly you get access to the game included in the hotel room price. Depends what total price it is I guess though!

It's £85 per night but... that's for 2 people saving £44 on your gate price plus you can park your car in the club car park, so in essence you're paying £40 for the night which isn't too shabby. The rooms are half decent and there are enough pubs/bars/eateries in Headingley for a good night out.

Yeah my brother and his wife have stayed there before as they live in Nottingham and having entrance to the game included makes it not THAT expensive to stay over.

As a slight tangent have they ever been down to watch Outlaws play? Its not exactly Sl, but it could be a good source of Live league for them to get into, and we are always looking to get more people down to watch
