Whilst I am all for coaches to acknowledge the fans now and again, before / during / after games, my impression of the antics of BMD during the pre-game warm was somewhat over-the-top.

The waving and thumbs up to the fans gave the impression that he'd taken the result for granted and basically we'd had to turn up to win. Cocky and unprofessional .... And something that about 90 minutes later, came back to bite him on the backside. Who knows what effect that had on the Leeds team and if it would have been me as the opposition, the perfect incentive and motivation if one was needed.

Well all know that once the game had started that, yet again, we'd failed to come up with an effective game plan to blunt the edge of Danny Scruff's kicking game and meanwhile, Huddersfield were doing an excellent job of snuffing out Moon & Hall down the left flank.

It would be interesting to see the stats, perhaps via Tvoc, of the percentage of games we've won when facing Brough on the opposing side.

Are there any stats to see if waving and thumbs up to the fans give proportionate defeats and if so will we see a similar and linked improvement if he sticks two fingers up and mouths obscenities at the crowd before a game ?

I just got the impression that he was impressed by the turn out and wanted to show his appreciation to us.

He acknoledged the supporters for turning up in numbers, I think it's as simple as that.

I thought that was the primary reason Jimmy Lowes was brought on to the coaching staff. Surprised he's failed to deliver.

Had the 'pleasure' of sitting with the giants fans on a courtesy ticket yesterday as part of going on the pitch at halftime with my other halfs school. What utter rubbish is spouted from the stands both by home and away supporters! Nice though to say hello to Liam Sutcliffe in the tunnel at half time, great that he's getting that match day experience and hope he makes his debut soon.

What a load of utter rubbish, McDermott coming to applaud the fans before the game had no bearing on the result. We were simply outplayed, made too many errors and just seemed intent in taking it through the middle especially when we had a man advantage when working it out wide was the best option. The Giants deserved their victory played smarter didn't cough up possession in the same manner Leeds did and I hope they now go on to win it for Yorkshire.

As for the k**b head who was sat near us who was shouting "rubbish" and "you don't deserve this support" to the Leeds players at the end of the game, five league titles in six years and three Challenge cup finals in the last three years suggests they do. We don't have a Devine right to win everything and sometimes you simply have to concede that the other team better, Saturday was such a day

C'mon now people. We won the "niggle" yesterday, which, according to some is an intrical part of the modern game. Perhaps BMD was embracing this new theory, and simply attempting to wind up the opposition?

Well he's damned if he does......and damned if he doesnt. Mac got stick in the early days for not showing any emotion. We got beat because Hudds had a good game plan, Achurch had a mare, and we started panicking after 20 mins. Despite continually being comprehensively beaten by Hudds we dont seem to give them the respect we give to Saints/Wigan/Wire. Good on them, hope they bring the cup to Yorkshire - something we spectacularly can't.

Yes. Someone has to stop Wigan. It's funnier when they end the season with nowt, despite everyone (especially themselves) telling the world how they are the 'best team in Superleague'. Last year, we stopped them getting to Wembley and Old Trafford. We did our bit. Now someone else has to step up to the mark. I'd like it to be Huddersfield.

I'd personally prefer it to be Sheffield.
I reckon Sheffield have got the hex on Wigan in CC games.
