The new rules and tightening up on the play the ball seems barmy, thought the ref believed we had come to see him at one stage. Its just a means of restarting the game much like the scrum which is just toss it in the backrow and get on with it.

Disgraceful attendance for a local derby ......but then I am over here in Hull and we get four figure gates for any derby match whatever the level.........but to congratulate yourselves for turning up in such low numbers is unbelievable

Not exactly a very attractive match to go see - 3 first teamers on show in the freezing cold against championship opposition, more like an u19's game, 742 is a good attendance for one of them.

Plus the fact that Leeds United were playing at the same time might have reduce the attendance a bit too.

Plus theres lots of other things to do in Leeds rather than going to a friendly match. Then again in Hull its probably more of a boxing match

How big a crowd do you think Hunslet usually get for a league game? Nevermind a pre-season friendly against youngsters an hour after Leeds Utd kicked off.
