| Although most played their part last night thought JP has been fantastic through the playoff and back end of the season. Even if it is being used more sparingly he has still something to offer to the Leeds pack. All the pack and indeed team stood up when in counted.
But 10 grand finals and 8 winners rings in a career is a special achievement, one we might not seen matched. A great servant to both Leeds and Bradford and for me one of if not the best signing Leeds have made in recent times

| At fault for Warrington's opening try? Leeds' goal-line centre field defence exposed just as it has often been this season. Wasn't an issue last week at Wigan though - strange that.
Peacock is an absolute legend but it wouldn't be the crime of the century if he followed Sinfield's and Ablett's lead of doing less but contributing more.

| couldn't agree more tvoc. however kylie is also doing short spells so you couldn't really use both sparingly.

I think Leeds can, if they being in Singelton to share some front row minutes and also have Bailey / Kirke back at Prop. I have to say Kirke for me has put in some strong perfomances over the last couple of months as well. Delaney,JJB and Mitch at 2nd row, Ablett / Bailey at loose
Peacock = Rugby League legend....what he has done at Leeds, Bradford and GB has been nothing short of fantastic

Was it really that long?
I looked at the clock on the screen, and thought he came on about 45 minute mark, and thought he went off on 58 minute mark. Of course there will have been stoppages which held up clock.

What?
In the GF JP made 209 metres, 32 carries, 30 tackles, 4 Marker tackles, 2 offloads, 1 tackle bust. Are you suggesting he brings the water on as well when he is on the bench?

peacock was simply to slow to get to myler and only managed to get a hand on his dipping shoulder as he went past.
by the time jjb makes contact with harrison and then peacock, myler is a good meter through the line.
(jjb out to in defence leaves some questions though)

| I can't believe that in a thread stating how good JP is, someone has to highlight a missed tackle. And a missed tackle on a nippy half back at that. For a prop who has played the minutes and games he had, it can be excused. Myler summed up the situation and scored a good try. I guess some people just can't help looking at the negatives and stating the obvious.
Since JP announced his international retirement he seemed to have improved each week. Maybe it's in the knowledge that he'll finally get a break this closed season. He might not always make big yards but invariably attracts 3 or 4 defenders.
Legend doesn't seem to come close when describing him

While I agree with the rest, he had only played 3 minutes of this particular game...
But isolating your nimble halves against a prop forward in a bit of space is the sort of opportunity an attacking structure dreams of creating. Only one likely outcome from that point.

I didn't really pay much attention to that score but wasn't it just that the dummy runner drew JJB leaving a agap between him and JP and Myler ran through the hole?

I'd have to watch again. I thought Leeds had numbered up OK but simply got the wrong defender up against Myler. JJB was pulled wide to leave space. I suppose you'd need a shot where you could see the whole line to be sure where the problem was.
Didn't matter in the end though!

You haven't read many of TVOCs posts then?
He's a little ray of sunshine these days.
Thank goodnight he didn't have internet access in the 1980s.
