Not sure what it looked like on the TV, but from the ground I thought he had a good game, I was expecting him to be close to MOM. Particulary enjoyed his try celebration stood over briers shouting after 3 high tackle in a row from breirs

He had an absolute cracking game! I thought he ran Sinfield close to MotM.

I was very impressed with him and the only mistake I remember him making was the dropped pass from Sinfield... which unfortunately proved costly at the time, but not in the grand -Final- scale of things!



He set-up two tries with lovely passes, scored a good 'n', and generally got stuck in all round. What more could you want?

Ablett was my MOM, ran himself into the ground, well done leeds

Wouldn't argue with sinny getting it but for me ablett was a lot closer than that. He isn't the fastest but is good on defence, knows where the try line is. Runs some good lines, and more importantly has good hands and can draw a defender and release his winger

Abblet my mom by some distance tonight. But Sinny was knocked clean out, stood up and lead his men to another grand final victory. I'm guessing his award tonight was more a man of the series vote. 100% goal kicking in a play off series......unheard of!!!

Ablett was excellent, as he is most weeks. Not many better British centres around. Wigan fans will still think he's rubbish though.

Sinfield was good but not close to last weeks standard. Leuluai, kirke, JP all had big games, burrow was very busy and Lunt was brilliant when he was on the field.

Myler??? Had they won Chris hill should have been a shoe in-he was immense!

Yes he didn't look fully fit but in big games they are the risks you take. I'm sure mags isn't fully fit either.

I think the 5 mins before half time were he made a poor pass to Hall and then next time the ball went to Ablett he dropped it cost him MoM

Kevin Sinfield the man of the match for me. When he covered for Hardaker and then went on to score a try kept us in the game. For me Sir Kev the laid the platform for a great victory.

Only ever appreciated by the fans who watch him week in week out, scored vital try's in the last two gf's, wwc and cc

Agree with all that's stated here....Sinfield deserved it, but Ablett was much closer to winning the MOM than any other. Great centre play displayed.

Lunt deserves a special mention too: contrary to the Southstander report it was his delayed pass (not one from Hardaker) that created the crucial Ablett try.

I predict Lunt will be a Leeds player next season: McShane will be moved on.

Ablett was MoM, not to take anything away from Sinfield.

Thought Able was very strong. Is a yard of pace short of being a world class centre. Vastly underrated

Riley was good for wire. Got through loads of work and was very dangerous

Agree regarding Lunt pleased for him wasn't wanted by his current club and proved them wrong. I think his defence has been great and that was pointed out as his weakness by some hudds fans

He also created history the only hudds player to win a major trophy!!
