Because you should never turn down the chance to play for your country, whatever the circumstances, plus he is the captain and wouldnt be setting a great example if he picks and chooses which games to play in! However if i was MacNamara i wouldnt have picked him because this is the perfect chance to give youth ago and I dont think he will cut at all next year when the World Cup comes round!

Agree you don't turn down the chance to play for your country. Also agree with tad, not been rested rotated enough by club coach IMO

always drives me nuts that JP is still on when the game is well lost/won. Sure it's the man himself but what was the point of him playing for the last 10 minutes against Wigan and Warrington.
